Earlier this year I decided to buy a tablet computer. I’d held off buying one because until I started my own business, I saw a tablet as a luxury item rather than a necessity. I had a desktop computer, two laptops and a notebook. I didn't think I really needed another piece of technology.
But then, I needed to access my emails when I was out and about to avoid missing urgent work, and I didn’t feel my Smartphone would do. So, I bought a Kindle Fire HD, eschewing the iPad, because I already had a Kindle e-reader and loved it, and wanted to stay in the Kindle family. Also, the Android operating system the Kindle uses is a lot more open than the proprietorial Apple.
Well, needless to say, once I had my tablet, I found that it’s incredibly useful and handy, and it soon became a necessity rather than a luxury.
And earlier this week, I found another bit of kit that makes my working life even easier – a tablet Bluetooth keyboard. As a Copywriter and a Virtual Assistant, having a proper keyboard to type on rather than a digital keyboard, makes typing a letter, inputting data into a spreadsheet and writing a 500 word article a lot easier. No more annoying predictive text. No more miss taps on the wrong letter. And it even came with an attractive protective case that holds the tablet and the keyboard.
So, if you have a tablet and do a lot of keyboard work, and are often on the go, but don’t want to lug around a heavy laptop, then I heartily recommend investing in a Bluetooth keyboard.
